2. Principle
Pockeeper is deliberately designed for data minimization: names, bookings, savings goals, PIN, and settings are stored exclusively on the user’s device -- there is no server of our own, no user account, and no cloud synchronization. This policy covers both this website and the app.
3. Visiting this Website
When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data, such as IP address, timestamp, page requested, and browser and device information. This processing serves secure delivery and abuse detection on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and External Fonts
This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. Fonts are not loaded from external providers; all content is self-hosted.
5. Data Processing in the App
All app data -- children’s names, balances, bookings, savings goals, recurring payments, and settings -- is stored exclusively on the device in an encrypted SQLite database and is not transmitted to us or to third parties. A full backup can be exported by you at any time; deletion happens locally via the "Delete All Data" function in the settings, or by uninstalling the app.
6. App Stores and Premium Purchase
Downloads and purchase processing take place via the Apple App Store or Google Play. The purchase is handled entirely by the respective platform; we only receive and store the result (Premium active/inactive) locally on the device. We never see any payment data.
7. Advertising, Analytics, and Error Diagnostics
In the parent area of the app, ads are occasionally shown via Google AdMob (not in Kid Mode). In doing so, Google processes advertising/device ID, IP address, and ad interaction data. For users in the EEA, a consent prompt is shown before any ads are loaded (Google User Messaging Platform). Details: Google Privacy Policy. No other analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs are integrated.
8. Support Requests
When you contact us by email, we process your email address, message, and any voluntarily provided information to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The message is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for processing.
9. Recipients and Transfers to Third Countries
Recipients are the hosting provider of this website (servers in Germany) as well as, solely within the scope of the app, Google (AdMob advertising) and Apple/Google (purchase processing). No further disclosure to third parties takes place.
10. Rights of Data Subjects
To the extent provided by law, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
11. Changes
This privacy policy will be updated whenever features, service providers, or legal requirements change.
